Chelsea have made a bid worth up to £60million for Everton star Anthony Gordon.
The Blues have tabled the offer worth £50m, plus £10m in add-ons, for the 21-year-old.
Gordon is wanted by Chelsea this summer
The west London club have been pursuing Gordon and have already seen a bid rejected.
Reporting on the news, talkSPORT Breakfast host Laura Woods said: "A bit of breaking news for you this morning. Reports are coming in that Chelsea have bid £50m, plus £10m in add-ons, for Anthony Gordon.
"We've heard a bit about this, that is the fresh bid on the table at the moment."
Earlier this month, a bid of around £40m was rejected by the Toffees.
Former Liverpool striker Dean Saunders reacted to the news on talkSPORT and thinks it would be a PR disaster for Everton.
Saunders said: "Number one, PR wise it is not good. Fans are already down in the dumps at what has gone on at the club over the last three years.
Chelsea are willing to pay up to £60m for Gordon
"They've spent £600m and are in big trouble.
"When they do play well, he's normally the best player. He shows that energy and enthusiasm. He's not an out and out striker, they crossed the ball in the other day and he pulled his head out the way.
"He's more of a player who plays in the pocket and takes people on.
"£50m! If you can kick the ball from A to B you are probably worth about £25m."
