Hold on to your hats, dear readers, because the events calendars are starting to overflow with fun activities for all ages.
This week's list includes a chocolate festival to satisfy everyone's sweet tooth, an appearance from comedian and actor Rob Schneider, an author meet-and-greet and much more.

Saturday, Sept. 16
1. The Loveland Chocolate Festival will take place at 11 a.m. at the Ranch Events Complex, 5280 Arena Circle with samplings, shopping, entertainment and more. Attendees can try a variety of chocolate confections, including truffles, cupcakes, martinis, toffee, bonbons and more. Admission is $10 for guests 13 and older, and kids 12 and younger get in free. 2. The 27th annual Great Machine Show is set for 7 a.m. at Arapahoe Park, 4450 Indiana St., Golden. The show will feature nine classes for cars and trucks with 33 awards and two Best of Show trophies given out as well as vendor booths and a swap meet. 3. Dust off your cape and fly the Bat Signal because the 11th annual Superhero Run steps off at 8 a.m. at the Greeley Family Funplex, 1501 65th Ave., Greeley. Presented by PDC Energy, the race draws nearly 500 participants of all ages to take part in various routes such as a 10K, 5K, 1-mile and kids fun run. Participants can enjoy a live DJ, carnival, vendor booths, food and drinks and more. Proceeds benefit Life Stories Child and Family Advocacy. 4. The Rialto Theater is hosting a performance from the 3 Redneck Tenors at 7:30 a.m. at 228 E. 4th St. Complete with mullets and blue-collar comedy, the trio will demonstrate their classically trained voices in a fun and engaging show for audience members of all ages. 5. Rhythm at Roosevelt will take place at 2 p.m. at Roosevelt Park, 700 Longs Peak in Longmont with live music, food trucks, beverages and more for all ages. Admission and parking are free. 6. Got documents you need to get rid of? Then swing by the free Community Shred Day at 9 a.m. at First FarmBank, 2939 65th Ave., Greeley. Community members can bring up to two bags or boxes of documents that will be safely and securely disposed of by Shred Monster. 7. Rendezvous at the Fort will take place at 10 a.m. at The Fort, 19192 Colo. 8 in Morrison. The event will feature mountain men trapper and trader encampments, Native American ceremonial dancers and singers, storytellers and more. 8. Join authors Tracey Barski and C.H. Lyn for a meet-and-greet at 11 a.m. at Barnes and Noble, 4045 S. College Ave., Fort Collins. 9. The 48th annual Arts and Crafts Festival is set for 9 a.m. at Bond Park, 170 MacGregor Ave., Estes Park. 10. Tour De Farms 2023 will roll out at 8:30 a.m. at Purpose Brewing, 3450 Riva Ridge Place, Unit F306, Fort Collins with a bike ride led by Bike Fort Collins. Participants will bike over 30 miles to visit four local area farms to enjoy refreshments and a presentation from each farm owner/representative. 11. The 6th annual Plein Air in the Parks is scheduled for 1 p.m. at the Curt Gowdy State Park Visitors Center, 1264 Granite Springs Road, Cheyenne. 13. Usher in the fall season by participating in one of the fall equinox scenic runs at 6:30 a.m. at the Poudre River Canyon. Racers of all ages can register for a 5-mile, half-marathon or marathon that will take participants along a course filled with beautiful views of the canyon. 14. Swing by Wiley Roots Brewing for Decades of Movies Trivia at 6:30 p.m. at 625 3rd St., Greeley. Questions will include current movies as well as silent movies. 16. Michael Palascak Not a Stalker Tour is coming to Greeley at 8 p.m. at the Moxi Theater, 802 Ninth St. Palascak has been featured on "The Late Late Show," "The Tonight Show," "Comedy Central" and was a top five finalist on "Last Comic Standing." Friday, Sept. 22
17. The 2023 Friends of Baseball Golf Tournament is set for 9 a.m. at the Greeley Country Club, 4500 10th St., Greeley. Presented by Cordova Methane Controls, participants will be able to play and mingle with former MLB players such as Cody McKay, Bobby Howry, Mark Redman and more. The exhibit features 59 art pieces from 41 artists from across the country. All art in the exhibit was juried by David Reif, Professor Emeritus of Art at the University of Wyoming. Actor, comedian, screenwriter and director Rob Schneider is bringing his The Narcissist Confessions Tour to Cheyenne at 7 p.m. at the Cheyenne Civic Center, 510 W. 20th St. Schneider is known for his comedy and sketch performances on NBC's "Saturday Night Live" as well as parts in a variety of movies, including "The Animal," the "Grownups" franchise, "The Waterboy" and more.
