Thomas Partey remains a doubt to start Arsenal's clash with Everton with boss Mikel Arteta concerned over his match fitness.
The Ghanaian made his return to action as a substitute in the Gunners' 1-0 win at Leicester on Saturday after missing two games with a thigh injury.
Mikel Arteta might not be ready to risk playing Thomas Partey from the start
The 29-year-old has been key for Arsenal in their quest pick up first league title since 2004 but Arteta's January move for Jorginho has adequately filled the void left by his absence.
Partey played the final six minutes at the King Power Stadium and Arteta knows the 29-year-old will need more minutes to get himself back on track.
"He hasn't obviously trained much, he's only had a session and he will train today so it is what it is. He was out for a few weeks and he needs to get rhythm," Arteta said in his pre-match press conference on Tuesday.
A win against Everton would fire the Gunners' five-points clear of closest challengers Manchester City with a favourable run of fixtures on the horizon.
Games against Bournemouth, Fulham, Crystal Palace and Leeds await Arteta's side as the title race enters a critical stage.
Arteta will be keen to get Partey up to speed as quickly as possible for the key fixtures that await.
Gabriel Jesus is closing in on a return to boost Arsenal's title bid
Meanwhile, Arsenal are hoping to have long-term injury absentee Gabriel Jesus back before the international break at the end of March.
The Brazilian has been out of action since suffering a knee injury while on World Cup duty with Brazil.
Jesus registered five goals and seven assists from 20 matches before his injury setback.
