Kane has been subject to harsh criticism after he blazed over his spot-kick against France in the Three Lions' World Cup quarter-final defeat.
He had equalised against Les Bleus from the spot, but with his second attempt late into the match, he spurned a key chance to level the game up at 2-2.
It led some fans to question why he was even on penalty duty, despite his stunning record from 12 yards out having missed three out of his 20 penalties for England prior to his France miss.
But the Spurs supporters in attendance at the Gtech Community Stadium were fully behind their talismanic striker.
They sang in unison, 'Harry Kane, he's one of our own', throughout the warm-up and before kick-off.
Kane had a great chance to open the scoring in the first Premier League game after the international break but saw a free-kick hit the wall.
