He's also hit out at former Red Devils teammates Rooney and Gary Neville following criticism from them about his attitude this season.
Neville made a light-hearted response by tweeting 'Anyone for dinner?' in reference to Ronaldo saying he wouldn't have dinner with either him or Rooney any time soon.
Man United's record goalscorer hasn't made a public statement on the matter but is understood to be bemused by Ronaldo's comments, Sky Sports News reports.
The report also says Rooney maintains that he sees Ronaldo as one of the two best players in the world, along with Lionel Messi.
However, Rooney is of the view that Ronaldo must accept that he's in the latter stages of his career and thus must respect that he won't play every minute of every match at Man United.
Sky Sports adds that despite the comments Rooney holds 'no animosity' towards Ronaldo.

Ronaldo may not be feeling the wrath of his former teammates but some of his current teammates have not necessarily taken too kindly to his outburst.
He appeared to have an awkward reunion with Man United and Portugal teammate Bruno Fernandes in the changing room ahead of the World Cup.
However, Portugal midfielder Joao Mario says there's no rift between the two and they were merely joking with each other.
