Rodrigo Bentancur revives career with Tottenham
When the 25-year-old made the move from Juventus this summer, it seemed like there was little to come out of the transfer. However, it has proved to be a bargain in the same way that Dejan Kulusevski's has panned out so far.
Tottenham paid €19 million up-front for Rodrigo Bentancur, with up to €6 million in add-ons that can be activated over the next four years. Alongside Fede Valverde in midfield, Bentancur is a part of Uruguay's World Cup squad which is considered one of the dark horses this year.
In contrast, Juventus have had a very difficult time on the pitch, which suggests that the players might not be the problem after all. Conte's faith in the player has been repaid strongly, and it will be interesting to see how far he can take his regained form.
