The 2022 World Cup is just around the corner as the world's best players get set to compete for the famous trophy.
While the Premier League takes a break, plenty of players will still be in action as they head to Qatar this week.
The Reds will have a few familiar faces in Qatar
Liverpool have seven of their squad going to the World Cup, although a lot of their key men are being left at home.
Which Liverpool players will be at the World Cup?
Trent Alexander-Arnold
Will Alexander-Arnold or Reece James go to the World Cup? It was one of the biggest debates in English football a few weeks ago.
But after James' injury, the Liverpool right-back was an easy selection for Gareth Southgate despite his inconsistent form this season.
Jordan Henderson
The Reds captain was named in the England squad last week and will be in Qatar this winter.
His game time could be limited but the midfielder's impact in the dressing room will be second to none.
Darwin Nunez
Liverpool's new star man will be leading the line for Uruguay alongside former Reds striker Luis Suarez.
He entered the World Cup break after scoring a brace at Anfield and will be looking to keep up that scoring form in Qatar.
Nunez is highly-rated by Jurgen Klopp
Virgil van Dijk
The Netherlands will be tough to break down this winter with Van Dijk a regular in the centre of their defence.
Oranje will be hoping to go far on their return to the World Cup after failing to qualify in 2018.
Fabinho
Fabinho has not been in the best form so far this season but he will be part of the Brazil squad in Qatar.
He joins a strong midfield line-up and will be competing for a starting spot with Casemiro.
Alisson
Goalkeeper Alisson will join Fabinho with Brazil and is likely to start ahead of Man City shot-stopper Ederson.
He has been on top form in recent weeks and will be a tough opponent to score past as Selecao aim for another World Cup title.
Ibrahima Konate
Konate has been called up to Didier Deschamps' France squad for the World Cup.
His inclusion came somewhat as a surprise, but after adapting well to the Premier League he now has the chance to prove himself on the biggest stage.
Firmino was gutted to miss out for Brazil
Which Liverpool players missed out?
Seven players will be in Qatar but plenty of key men for Liverpool will be watching on from home.
Roberto Firmino did not make the Brazil squad and Thiago was also not named in Spain's 26-man line-up last week.
Mohamed Salah's Egypt failed to qualify so he will not be at the World Cup and it's the same for Andy Robertson and Scotland.
Luis Diaz picked up an injury last month but Colombia also failed to make it regardless.
