Piers Morgan believes Cristiano Ronaldo would be a perfect fit at Arsenal if his Manchester United career is indeed over.
Ronaldo has given an explosive interview to TalkTV host Morgan in which he has slammed the state of Manchester United and declared he has no respect for manager Erik ten Hag.
Morgan spoke exclusively to Ronaldo and believes he should sign for Arsenal
Ronaldo, a five-time Ballon d'Or win and considered one of the greatest players of all-time, feels he has been disrespected by the club following his return to Old Trafford in 2021.
It is hard to see a way back for him at United following the stinging criticism, which saw Ronaldo take aim at Ten Hag, senior executives and the infrastructure at the club.
Morgan, an ardent Arsenal fan, has now suggested that the 37-year-old could find a the perfect new home in north London.
"Gabriel Jesus needs a scoring partner next to him, and Jesus' heat map is so outrageous," Morgan told talkSPORT Breakfast.
"He [Jesus] covers so much ground, actually what we [Arsenal] need is a fox in the box, a world class player with bags of experience, who has won everything, and to help us get over the line.
"I can think of somebody - Cristiano Ronaldo!
"I would take him for six-months in a heartbeat, and this idea of that Ronaldo can't suddenly play football, I'm sorry, it's laughable."
Morgan sat down with Ronaldo, who revealed all about his difficulties at Man United
Morgan is a massive fan of Ronaldo and even reportedly suggested the Gunners secured his services last year, when the player was set to leave.
A transfer, though, never happened with United refusing to let the Portuguese international depart.
Napoli, Marseille and boyhood club Sporting Lisbon have been credited with an interest in the star previously, and Chelsea were even keen to secure his signature.
Ronaldo will most likely never pull on a United shirt again, and now has the opportunity to put himself in the shop window following the conclusion of the World Cup.
