Cristiano Ronaldo appeared to share an awkward reunion with Manchester United teammate Bruno Fernandes as the Portugal squad met for the World Cup.
Ronaldo has made a series of astonishing claims about the Red Devils during a bombshell interview with Piers Morgan on TalkTV.
Ronaldo's interview on TalkTV has caused chaos in the football world
Fernandes appeared to snub Ronaldo at first
The pair did shake hands but Fernandes said something which seemed to surprise Ronaldo
The 37-year-old said he does not respect manager Erik ten Hag and hit out at the Glazers, who own the club, in a 90-minute sit-down over his recent difficulties at Old Trafford.
Ronaldo's comments were made public hours after United sealed a late 2-1 victory at Fulham - and a week before Portugal begin their World Cup campaign in Qatar.
Now, a video has emerged of Fernandes meeting Ronaldo for the first time since his interview.
Fernandes, who has captained United on numerous occasions, appeared to ignore Ronaldo before reluctantly shaking his hand and muttering something which seemed to surprise the striker.
It is certainly not ideal preparation for what could be Ronaldo's last effort to win the World Cup - but the five-time Ballon d'Or winner insists his mind is fully fixed on the national team.
Posting an image alongside his Portugal teammates, captain Ronaldo said: "Total and absolute focus on the work of the national team.
"A united group, towards a single objective: to fulfil the dream of all Portuguese people!"
Portugal begin their World Cup campaign in Qatar when they take on Ghana on November 24, a match you can listen to live on talkSPORT.
They then face Uruguay on November 28 before taking on South Korea in Group H on December 2.
