Joe Hart was at fault for RB Leipzig's second goal as Celtic fell to a 3-1 defeat to the German side in the Champions League.
Chelsea target Christopher Nkunku and a brace from Andre Silva ensured victory for the Bundesliga outfit on Wednesday night.
Celtic fell to defeat in Germany and Hart won't remember this match fondly
France international Nkunku put Leipzig on their way, slotting the ball home as the hosts pounced on the counter.
Celtic responded through Jota's second-half goal as he latched onto a Kyogo Furuhashi's low cross, but their good work was undone after Bhoys shot-stopper Hart gave the ball straight to Dominik Szoboszlai.
The impressive 20-year-old then teed up Andre Silva to score the first of his two goals.
Nkunku then picked out Mohamed Simakan, who assisted for Silva to fire home and pour more misery on Celtic.
It means the Scottish Champions' hopes of progressing to the last-16 of Europe's elite competition are now very slim, with Leipzig leapfrogging them in Group F.
Celtic struggled to take their chances, and mistakes ultimately cost them in the end.
Nkunku opened the scoring as he breezed past Hart
Hart then made a terrible error, which led to Leipzig's second
It was all over on 77 minutes as Silva rounded off a swift Leipzig move
In particular, the error by ex-Manchester City goalkeeper Hart for the second goal proved costly as he passed the ball straight to Szoboszlai, who then slipped Silva in for the goal.
talkSPORT host Matt Holland was left baffled by the decision from Hart to play the ball out moments before Leipzig got their second.
"Joe Hart, Joe Hart, Joe Hart, what are you doing? The pass is not on", he said live on commentary for talkSPORT 2.
"The pass to Moritz Jenz on the right is not on, he has tried to thread a ball which just isn't on.
"He has given it away, just moments after RB Leipzig had a goal ruled out for offside.
Celtic face an uphill task if they are to progress, and now languish bottom of the group having picked up just one point thus far.
