Boro fans had a classy message for Kamara
He recently featured on Steven Bartlett's Diary of a CEO podcast and opened up on the challenges he has faced as a result of the neurological condition.
When asked how life was for him at the moment, Kamara said on the podcast: "Strange in terms of I feel a fraud now in terms of broadcasting - I don't bring to the table what I used to. So that's hard.
"I feel I'm doing these programmes and they're not getting the best of me, but they're tolerating me. That's how it feels.
"My life away from the screen couldn't be any better - grandkids, family, it's perfect."
Kamara has received an outpouring of support from the footballing community.
He was born in Middlesbrough, but only had a brief loan spell at the club during a career where he played 778 games.
Kamara revealed he has the speech disorder earlier this year
Boro fans showed their support for him, though, as they unveiled a banner that read: "You're not a fraud, you're unbelievable Kammy."
Kamara responded to a picture of the banner with: "Wow, that is 'Unbelievable Jeff' thank you."
