A video game industry icon is leaving her post. On September 12th, the Corporate Vice President of 343 Industries, Bonnie Ross, announced she would be leaving the studio. This announcement was revealed by Ross in a tweet she sent out on the same day.
Even though Ross' departure is somewhat sudden, Xbox was able to immediately fill her role. In a statement shared with Windows Central, the company said that the head of production, Pierre Hintze, will now be the studio head.
Bonnie Ross has been a staple for Microsoft since joining the organization back in 1994. She was also part of the original 343 Industries team when the studio was founded in 2007. Besides working on the Halo games, Ross also assisted in the creation of the Halo TV series.
