Harry Maguire will fight for his place at Manchester United, according to reports.
The centre-back was dropped from Erik ten Hag's starting XI as the Red Devils beat Liverpool 2-1 at Old Trafford.

New signing Lisandro Martinez and Raphael Varane were preferred to the club captain in the heart of the defence.
This had created more uncertainty around his future at United, with Chelsea said to have checked on his availability.
The Blues are looking to sign another centre-back before the transfer window closes on September 1.
Wesley Fofana is their top target, but Leicester have rejected a third bid of £70million.
Maguire was seen as a possible back-up option if the Fofana deal could not be completed.
The Mail reports that, as it stands, the England defender is not for sale and Maguire is fully focused on winning back his place in the starting XI.
Maguire was dropped from the United starting XI for the clash with Liverpool
It has been a difficult period for the 29-year-old as he has born the brunt of criticism from United fans while the club have been poor on the pitch.
His £80m price tag has been another source of criticism, while he was also booed by fans while on England duty.
With the World Cup just three months away, Maguire will be desperate to win his place back quickly.
Former Liverpool striker Dean Saunders believes a move away from United could be good for the England defender.
He told talkSPORT: "I don't feel sorry for nearly any of the Man United players as they just don't work hard enough.
Ten Hag made some changes to his United starting XI
"But I do have a soft spot for Harry Maguire. I think he's lost his self belief, lost his confidence and it has eventually got lower.
"He's not hopeless, he's a decent centre-back and we've seen he can play well in the past.
"He's got a decent attitude and I think he's a good professional and a good lad. He is trying but his self-belief has gone.
"Maybe taking him out of the firing line, taking him out as at one point it is Harry Maguire bashing by Great Britain, the whole four corners were giving him stick.
"Maybe it will do him good, maybe a move would do him good.
"He's a decent centre-back so would get in a number of teams. I'll get criticised for saying this as Man United fans are saying he's hopeless, but he's lost his self-belief. He's not become a bad centre-back.
"He's better than a mid-table Premier League team, he can do a job for most teams."
