Denbighshire County Council has congratulated students for their A/ AS Level results, published today (Thursday, 18 August).
Councillor Gill German, Cabinet Lead Member for Education, Children and Families Services, said: "I would like to say a huge congratulations to the A and A Level classes of 2022.
"Our Years 12 and 13 have shown tremendous resilience, commitment, dedication and courage at what has continued to be a difficult year following the impact of Covid and lockdown. Students have worked tirelessly against the odds and have been supported every step of the way by our schools, staff and parents/ guardians.
"Seeing how our schools and communities have pulled together during the coronavirus pandemic has been fantastic and despite disruptions pupils have continued to learn and achieve throughout.
"Reaching this stage has truly been a wonderful team effort, but the pupils themselves have really gone above and beyond and I would like to extend my warmest congratulations to those moving on to further education, the world of work or whichever journey they are following, as well as my best wishes to those going into their final year in September".
