Manchester United could have a huge say in Chelsea's hopes of offloading Hakim Ziyech this summer.
The 29-year-old moved to Stamford Bridge from Ajax 2020, however things haven't quite gone to plan in his Premier League career.
Ziyech is a major target for Ajax
Ziyech was a hugely popular playing at Ajax before joining Chelsea back in 2020
Ziyech has struggled to establish himself as a first team regular, managing 14 goals and 10 assists in 84 appearances.
As a result, Chelsea are open to offloading the player with Ajax keen on a reunion, however that deal could depend on the future of Antony.
Manchester United have been long-term admirers of the forward and having had an offer rejected last week, it remains to be seen whether the Brazilian will leave the Dutch side this summer.
According to journalist Fabrizio Romano, the future of Antony will have a direct impact on Chelsea's ability to offload Ziyech.
Speaking on his YouTube channel, Romano said: "Ajax are keen on signing Hakim Ziyech," he said explaining the player was in Amsterdam this week and met with former player Klaas-Jan Huntelaar, who is now part of the technical team at the club.
Antony is a major target for Man United, with Ziyech lined up as a potential replacement
"It was an important meeting because the player is tempted by Ajax but we will have to see if they find an agreement with Chelsea.
"It seems like it won't be an issue on Chelsea's side because they have been prepared to let Ziyech go since the beginning of the window in May."
A bid of £68million was said to have been made by Man United for Antony, which has been rejected.
The player is eager to move to the Premier League, though has been reminded by his manager, Alfred Schreuder, that he will not play Champions League football if he moves.
