Boxing promoter Eddie Hearn crushed Jake Paul's dream of becoming a world champion when the pair met ahead of Katie Taylor vs Amanda Serrano.
The YouTuber transitioned to boxing in 2020 and has amassed a 5-0 record but is yet to face anyone with a background in the sport ahead of his return to the ring in August.
Hearn and Paul are promoting the biggest fight in women's boxing history
Paul has previously said he will become a world champion and fight Saul 'Canelo' Alvarez, but Hearn let him know that he's being too ambitious when they met face-to-face in New York on Thursday.
"I think there's absolutely no way he can beat a world champion and become world champion," Hearn said during a media scrum.
"I will say he's improving a lot, he's dedicated to the sport. I don't how good he is because he hasn't faced a real fighter yet. It's not his fault, he signed to fight Tommy Fury."
Paul has picked up back-to-back wins over former UFC welterweight champion Tyron Woodley and believes that is a legitimate opponent despite the fact 'The Chosen One' has a background in wrestling, not striking.
"A five-time world champion in Tyron Woodley is a real fighter," Paul interjected.
"Mate, he's not a real boxer," Hearn fired back.
Paul put Woodley to sleep in his last fight
"I mean, the first skill of MMA is boxing. He won the UFC championship with a right hand," Paul explained.
"You consider Tommy Fury a real boxer?"
Tyson Fury's younger brother is most known for being related to the WBC heavyweight champion and appearing on the reality TV show, Love Island.

The 22-year-old currently boasts a perfect 8-0 professional boxing record but is yet to face any serious opposition, beating journeymen as he learns his trade.
"Not in terms of ability," Hearn replied. "A real boxer is someone who that is his craft.
"What I'm saying is, [Woodley] does not give you any right to talk about a world title, and nor does Tommy Fury actually.
"I'll give you the props, I'll give you the respect. You're improving all the time, but the proof will be in the pudding.
"I don't believe you'll ever get close to being a world-class fighter."
