As you progress through the Crumbling Farum Azula you will encounter the Godskin Duo. Once you beat them and make your way to the next boss, you will find a Draconic Tree Sentinel guarding the door.

This is a pretty tough boss and you might be asking wether or not this is a boss that you need to beat. Fortunately, this is an optional boss and you do not have to beat it in order to progress the game. If you are fine with leaving runes and loot on the table then you simply run past and avoid fighting the boss entirely.

Do note that the boss has the high ground and is on a horwse so the Draconic Tree Sentinel does have the upper hand. On the other hand, since you are going to be fighting a main story boss right after, you might as well save up on as many flasks as you can.
