Rainbow Six Extraction is a new co-op FPS game in which you are part of REACT and need to take care of the alien threat. In this Rainbow Six Extraction beginner's guide, we are going to give you some tips and tricks that are going to help you get started and kick some alien ass.

Rainbow Six Extraction Tips And Tricks

The following are the tips and tricks that you should keep in mind when playing Rainbow Six Extraction Tips.

Operator Selection And Team Comps Are Very Important

There are 18 operators in the game and they all have unique weapons and abilities. Team composition is going to be very important as you need to create synergies between the operators that you choose and the abilities that they have at their disposal.

Doc has a health pistol and can heal allies. Alibi can create decoys to distract enemies. Sledge has a hammer that can be used to get close up and personal with enemies. The operator can effectively take down Breachers. You can complete missions in order to earn XP and level up your operator in order to unlock new weapons and upgrade your abilities.

Do note that if your operator is hurt during a mission and is extracted with the health missing then they will need to rest and stay out of the fight in order to recover. If the health is drained during a mission then your team can carry the body and extract the operator but if left behind then the operator will be marked MIA (missing in action).

REACT Tech Can Be Very Useful

REACT Tech is special gear that can be used in fights. It is divided into explosives and gear. Make sure that individual members of the team have different REACT Tech equipt in order to increase flexibility. The Scan Mine is used to reveal enemies around you. The Glue Grenade holds enemies in place and the Revive Kits allows you to get back up once.

You Can Rescue MIA Operators

You can rescue MIA operators by starting an MIA rescue mission on the map the operator was left behind. During this mission, the downed operator will be held captive and you will need to get them back. Remove the operator from the alien tree and take them to the extraction point to allow the operator to fight another day.

If you are heading into an MIA operator rescue mission then you can reduce the mission difficulty to the lowest in order to have a better chance of being successful and getting the operator back.

Use Your REACT Light

Operators have access to the REACT light. This can be used to see enemies through some walls. Enemies do have to be near enough for this to work but this can come in handy to take down enemies without causing alarm. Use a silenced weapon to take down the enemy on the other side of the wall without attracting any attention. The light can also be used to find enemy weak points. Smashers for example have a weak point on their backs.

Remove The Sprawl

The Sprawl is a black alien substance that you can find growing in the environment. This will boost enemy speed while slowing you down. We recommend removing this from the environment when possible. You can do that by attacking it with your melee attack or using your weapons. You can also take down a nearby nest to clear it.

Remove The Sprawl

Reinforce Broken Walls

If you need to hold an area then you can reinforce broken walls in order to increase your survivability. This will protect you from incoming enemy mobs. You can close off doors as well but note that enemies that explode can make quick work of these reinforcements.

Destroy The Green Spores

As you progress the game you will often find green spores on walls. We recommend destroying them as they can stick to you and explode. If they do stick to you then you can ask your teammates to melee attack or shoot them off. This is vital as they can do damage and once they explode you will be surrounded by a green mist that will hinder your vision.

Use Stealth When Possible

The game will try and force you into fights but stealth is a great way to go whenever possible. Use takedowns when you can in order to avoid detection. When playing as Sledge you can even melee attack a Breacher or Bloater without causing an explosion.

Look Around For Boxes

During your missions, you will find boxes that replenish your abilities, refill ammo, provide REACT tech and boost your health. Pick these up when you can. You can also ping these boxes to help your friends find them.
