Monday will be the first free admission day of 2022 at Rocky Mountain National Park and other National Park Service units that charge admission.

The National Park Service announced there will be five free admission days in 2022. They are:

  • Jan. 17: Birthday of Martin Luther King Jr.
  • April 16: First day of National Park Week
  • Aug. 4: Anniversary of the Great American Outdoors Act
  • Sept. 24: National Public Lands Day
  • Nov. 11: Veterans Day

The entrance fee waiver does not cover user fees for activities such as camping.

One-day automobile passes at Rocky Mountain National Park are usually $25. Annual passes also are available.
