The Colorado High School Activities Association released volleyball regional brackets today, and plenty of local schools are represented.

Regionals — the start of the volleyball postseason — will take place this weekend in various locations throughout the state.

Windsor (18-5) is the third seed in the 36-team Class 4A postseason. The Wizards will play host to the Region 3 tournament, which also features No. 22 Green Mountain (16-7) and No. 34 Pueblo Central (13-10).

Each three-team tournament will have a round robin format.

Each tournament's regional winner will advance to the state tournament, Nov. 11-13 at the Broadmoor World Arena in Colorado Springs.

Exact times and days for the tournaments are to be announced.

Roosevelt (12-11) is seeded 25th in 4A. It will partake in the Region 12 tournament in Denver. That tournament features 12th-seeded host Thomas Jefferson (17-6) and No. 13 Holy Family (14-9).
