These lot just don't do routine wins.

Manchester United did things the hard way and then some in their 3-2 triumph over Atalanta, fighting back from 2-0 down to claim the points in the Champions League group match at Old Trafford.

Cristiano Ronaldo was Man United's saviour with the winning goal

Man United just don't know when they're beaten

It eases some pressure on Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, with some reports suggesting he needs to get back to winning again in order to save his job.

But just when the situation looked so hopeless, Man United got themselves out of the scrape spectacularly.

And Jamie O'Hara, who has been a vocal critic of Solskjaer, insisted credit is due to the Red Devils boss.

O'Hara said on the Sports Bar: "Credit where it's due, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer pulls it out the bag again. He must've been going in at half time thinking 'I'm on my last legs here, I'm done, I can't keep my job.'

Are you not ENTERTAINED?!

"But the players come out and dig him out of a hole again!

"That says something about him as a manager when the players come out and put in a performance like that in the second half."

Solskjaer admitted that being forced to mount heroic comebacks is becoming a habit for his side, something that Jason Cundy, who gave Solskjaer the hilarious 'Ole Houdini' nickname, believes needed addressing.

Cundy said: "I've never seen a team so consistently be brilliant and shockingly bad in the same 90 minutes - sometimes in the same 45 minutes.

Man United were booed off at half time

But it was ecstasy at full time

"I don't get them as a side - they're ridiculous. They can be so good and so bad in the same game with the same players, remarkable."

"Every time Solskjaer needs a result... as bad as United can be like they were against Leicester... they can't keep getting away with it, but they do.

"Somehow they can be dreadful, give teams a two-goal head start - like Southampton last season when they were 2-0 down, Villarreal this season.

"They're a Jekyll and Hyde side. From shockingly bad, pathetic at times, to absolutely exhilaratingly brilliant. I can only imagine what it was like at half time."

What on earth did Solskjaer say to his players at half time?

Next up for Man United is a crunch clash at home to Liverpool in the Premier League.

What can we expect from the Red Devils this Sunday? Who knows as far as Cundy is concerned.

He added: "You're never convinced Man United are in total control. No one would've been surprised if Atalanta got an equaliser and the game finished 3-3.

"Their in-game management is dreadful. Look at the way Liverpool manage games, the vast majority of the big teams navigate their way through quote safely in a lot of games - United don't."

But whatever happens, you can guarantee it won't be dull.
