An upcoming fundraiser hosted by the Greeley Police Department allows residents to support a great cause while enjoying a delicious meal.

Greeley police are asking residents to spread the news and show support for a Santa Cops fundraiser from 4-8 p.m. Wednesday at the Greeley Red Robin.

Santa Cops will get 20% of the food sales associated with the fundraiser when people dine in at the restaurant or order to-go.

All attendees who choose to dine-in must either bring a fundraiser flyer in or inform their server they are there to support the department's fundraiser, according to Greeley police.

If people decide to do a to-go order, here are the steps those must take to partake in the fundraiser:

  1. Select the Greeley restaurant and begin the order on the Red Robin website.
  2. In the menu section on the website, go to the category labeled "Fundraisers".
  3. Click on and open the "Spirit Night (To-Go) Fundraiser".
  4. Add the organization's name to the Special Instructions in the Spirit Night item, then add it to cart.
  5. Add meal items before checking out
  6. Go to Red Robin, park in a designated curbside spot and call the phone number on the sign. An employee will bring out the order.

Santa Cops of Weld County is a nonprofit that provides toys to children throughout Greeley and Evans who otherwise would not receive anything for Christmas, according to the Greeley Police Department's website.

Each year, Santa Cops give gifts to over 5,000 families in the community.
