Microsoft announced the company will be releasing a mini-fridge, shaped like an Xbox Series X console, later this year. The product was first revealed after Microsoft defeated Skittles in the Brand Bracket buzzer challenge on Twitter.
The product is being officially called the Xbox Mini Fridge. It is being "powered" by the "Xbox Velocity Cooling Architecture". The black and green refrigerator can reportedly hold up to ten 12-ounce cans.
The Xbox Mini Fridge is scheduled to be released during the 2021 holiday season. At this time, the price of the product has not yet been revealed.
I love this idea. This mini fridge screams "I'm a gamer!". Helping customers establish their "gamer identity" has become a great marketing/advertising tool in this industry. Can't wait to buy one.
