Vitality and Astralis went head-to -head today with the chance of being locked into or knocked out of playoffs! It was VIT that ultimately took the victory over AST, but it wasn't over yet! Excel Esports faced off against G2 Esports to see if they can force a tiebreaker! Unfortunately for XL, G2 came to play and denied them the opportunity of playoffs! This meant that VIT have locked in the last spot of playoffs!
VIT grabbed a 6-minute first blood after AST were caught with their pants down taking the dragon. Things started to go horribly wrong for AST as they lost their botlane to a gank and their jungler in a failed gank in the mid lane. By the 10-minute mark, it was 8-1 in kills for the side of VIT! However, AST almost won a teamfight in the top lane. VIT secured the Baron at 24 minutes, but was unable to get the soul as AST stole it. VIT finally defeat AST at 29 minutes to stay alive in the contention for playoffs!
