It has been a full week since the Tampa Bay Buccaneers opened up training camp, and the intensity is still there. The bleachers completely full, the ninety degree heat, and full pads were on display today at training camp sixth practice. The full padded practice was the second consecutive for the team.

The day started with special teams unit practicing punts. Punter Bradley Pinion struggled as a lot of his punts sailed out of bounds. Wide receivers Jaylon Mickens, Scotty Miller and Jaelon Darden handled the return duties. Mickens handled the return duties last season, however, Miller and Darden have the speed and agility to claim that job. Darden has really turned heads at camp early on.

There were a lot of things to see today at Buccaneers camp. After the individual drills, it was time for offense to go against the defense. A lot transpired, so lets get into it!

Highlight Reel Catches on Display:

The Buccaneers wide receivers gave the fans something to get very excited about today, outstanding catches. During 11-on-11s, Tom Brady found wideout Tyler Johnson, who made an incredible one-handed catch in the end zone for a touchdown. Two plays later, fans erupted for another big play. Draped in double coverage, Mike Evans hauled in an outstanding catch down the sideline. The entire sideline went bonkers, and I still don't know how he made that catch.

Defense Causing Fits

The Buccaneers defense has been showing their dominance sine the day camp started, and that continued today. Tom Brady was sacked due to the coverage downfield during 11-on-11s. In complete disgust, Brady punted the ball nearly thirty five yards to the other practice field. In another instance, during a two minute drill, Tom Brady could not find any open receivers downfield and was sacked again. Brady let out a loud expletive and walked to the sideline. This defensive unit is smothering, and continuously gets pressure.

Joe Tryon Proving His Worth

The thirty second overall pick in this years NFL Draft, Joe Tryon has been extremely impressive in camp early on. Even catching the eye of head coach Bruce Arians, who said, Tryon has been "whooping a lot of guys asses"  in camp and that "He's carving out a real, nice role for himself". With how impressive Tryon has been, he will be in the pass rushing rotation on defense, and has a chance to become a starter quickly.

Brown, and Others Given Off Day

Bruce Arians told reporters after practice that Antonio Brown had the day off. Brown came out to the practice fields late wearing a face covering.  Bruce Arians also told reporters that Ndamukong Suh, Jason Pierre Paul and O.J Howard had the day off as well.

The Buccaneers are off tomorrow and return to the practice field Tuesday morning. This upcoming week only have three consecutive practices from Thursday August 5th to Saturday August 7th.Work is still to be done, and the Buccaneers will get back to work this week.
