Jake Garcia will not be returning to the No. 35 Chevrolet Silverado at McAnally-Hilgemann Racing for the 2024 NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series campaign, the 18-year-old driver confirmed via social media on Monday.

"I've thoroughly enjoyed my rookie season in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series with everyone at McAnally-Hilgemann Racing and the support of our partners at Quanta Services and Adaptive One," the statement reads. "We've had fast trucks, strong finishes, and have a lot of reasons to be proud of our effort."

A native of Monroe, Georgia, Garcia first joined McAnally-Hilgemann Racing on a part-time basis in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series, running a six-race schedule comprised of tracks under 1.25 miles in length.

This season, Garcia was tapped to compete full-time for the organization in the NASCAR Truck Series - except Daytona, due to age restrictions. Despite not visiting victory lane, the rookie campaign has been successful, scoring two top-five and eight top-10 results.

According to Garcia, his departure from McAnally-Hilgemann Racing comes as a result of the pursuit of a new opportunity for the 2024 season, which the driver says will be officially announced in the near future.

In his rookie campaign in the NASCAR Truck Series, Garcia boasted a career-best result of fourth-place, which he earned in the event at Richmond Raceway.

As of the time of publishing, McAnally-Hilgemann Racing has yet to release a statement on the departure of Jake Garcia. The organization has already announced that Daniel Dye will join the team in the No. 43 Chevrolet Silverado for 2024.
