Minor League Baseball teams have some great logos and some not-so-great logos. They go through many rebrands that are permanent, or just for a promotion. Well now it's time for Minor league Baseball as a whole to get a logo change.
As seen above it looks pretty much like the MLB logo which isn't good. The old one looked different enough and gave MILB a distinct identity. This is just trying to be too close to major league look. The similarity in branding is supposed to symbolize a connection between Minor and Major League Baseball and the player development pipeline. To me this just is like oh let me copy your homework project but change a couple things so it's not obvious you copied. I think it losses the feel of MILB having its own identity and it sucks.
