Rapper Volvexzshawa has made his plea known to president-elect William Ruto ahead of his swearinging
Volvexz opined that the country is greatly divided and the one person that should be protected is none other than Raila Odinga.
In a near 8 –minutes-long freestyle dubbed "Regtreats," he narrates the scenario and addresses Ruto directly.
He starts by congratulating him for his deserved win and further praises him for his patience which he says was admirable.
The rapper then asks the president-elect to protect Baba from ridicule since he can realate,having been sidelined for the past couple of years.

The freestyle has attracted many views online and has been described as the vibe the country needs ahead of Ruto. During the lockdown period, the hard-hitting rapper took to social media to address the then DP,askining him to look into the plight of entertainers whose lives were disrupted by the pandemic.
The Rapper goes on by asking question if this is really the country their grandparents really fought for because kenya has a country has turned into the shadow of corruption " We live in a country that if you luck the connection and lines then your jobless for real , seen lot youths graduate with first class degree and end up jobless but yet we still got adverts and promo still running with job vacancy ….. country where our young girls tend to travel outside to look for jobs , travel in suitcases but end up brought in suckbags"

The Deputy President was touched and shared public response on Instagram saying he has had the voice and cry of the citizens and will communicate with the President Ruto for the way forward for the un-employed youths and also see a way forward regarding Baba matter
