What transnational media corp do you consume the most media from, and why?
There are so many different social media platforms that have been created along with the development of computer and phone technologies. The most popular social medias go from Facebook ranked at #1 to Youtube ranked at #2 to plenty of other social media platforms. For people of my age I would say that the most popular platforms would have to be Instagram, Snapchat, and TikTok. I say this because that is what I see being used by everyone. All of these websites try to stay popular by adding features that many other platforms already had and were primarily used for. For example snapchat was the first platform where you could put up a post called a story for everyone to view. A story would go away in 24 hours. Snapchat also lets you take photos and send them to friends and after a certain amount of seconds the photo would disappear. Instagram stole this platform's format so they could continue to stay popular and grow their users.
For me I would say that I consume the most media from Instagram. This is because instagram has done the best to copy other social media platforms. For me I feel like I am on snapchat, tik tok, and facebook all at once.
