Former Nottingham Forest goalkeeper Brice Samba hopes a wonder-save for Lens will help him make the France squad.
The Congolese-born 28-year-old has been in sublime form in Ligue 1, where he moved in the summer.
Samba continues to impress in FranceHe made an unreal save to claim a point for Lens
Samba had already secured legendary status in Nottingham by helping the side return to the Premier League for the first time in 23 years, and has since continued his rise.
The shot-stopper stole the headlines in Lens' 1-1 draw with Lille when he denied a wicked shot from Edon Zhegrova late on to steal a point.
Samba took the Man of the Match award for not only that save, but an excellent 90 minutes before it, and looked rather starstruck when he rocked up for a post-match interview with Arsenal legend Thierry Henry.
The France icon quickly settled his nerves, though, by complimenting his incredible save, reflexes and the strength of his wrists.
Samba wasn't so sure, but then they showed him a replay.
"Ah yeah... It's true that it's not bad!" he said with a laugh.
Everyone laughed when Samba realised how good the save was
Henry then joked: "The ball, it went to Arras!" saying the shot was so powerful it could have ended up in a nearby town.
After some more discussion, the subject turned to Didier Deschamps' France national team squad selection in five days' time.
France's last game was losing the World Cup final to Argentina, and in the aftermath, Tottenham's Hugo Lloris and former Crystal Palace man Steve Mandanda both retired from international duty.
Henry had to ask about the national teamAnd Samba gave the right answer
That leaves two spaces up for grabs, which Henry was keen to ask about.
"The French team?" he asked at the end of the interview.
"Ah yes, I hope! It's a dream," Samba replied, much to the pundit's delight.
Should Samba be selected, it would be a remarkable rise, going from the Championship to the World Cup finalists in under a year.
