Conor McGregor is in yet another social media spat with a UFC colleague ahead of his long-awaited and eagerly anticipated comeback fight.
'Notorious' has been sidelined due to injury since July 2021 but is now fully fit and filming The Ultimate Fighter with his return opponent, Michael Chandler.
McGregor is currently coaching on The Ultimate Fighter alongside Chandler
Charles Oliveira knocked out Chandler when they fought for the UFC lightweight title in May 2021 before repeatedly calling out McGregor during his three-fight reign as the 155lb king.
After losing to Islam Makhachev last year, 'Do Bronx' is now just another contender trying to work his way into title contention by beating Beneil Darish at UFC 288 on May 6.
Before that, the Brazilian gave his opinion on McGregor's first fight in two years and explained why he doesn't believe it will go well for the Irish superstar.
Oliveira told The MMA Hour: "I don't think he's going to win. I mean, he's a guy that sells and he's great to promote. People love his fights, but I don't think he's going to win.
"I believe Chandler is an explosive fighter. McGregor hasn't fought in a long time, so I believe Chandler is going to win."
On Wednesday evening, McGregor took to social media to fire back at Oliveira and remind the world he is unbeaten when facing Brazilian fighters following wins over Jose Aldo and Diego Brandao.
'Do Bronx' won the UFC lightweight title by beating ChandlerHe's convinced his former opponent will be too much for McGregor
"Charles Oliveira shut your pie hole. 2-0… Actually 3-0 because Rda [Rafael dos Anjos] s*** a brick. Brazil I love your land. I enjoy it," he wrote in since-deleted posts on Twitter.
This is not the first time the 34-year-old has angrily reacted to one of his UFC colleagues having an opinion on his fight with Chandler which hasn't been assigned an official date yet.
UFC heavyweight contender Tom Aspinall recently suggested he's not particularly interested in watching McGregor's return bout because he's 'over' the fight legend following his 10-year domination of the sport.
'Mystic Mac' later took to social media to mock Aspinall's physical appearance and threaten to 'kill' him for what he obviously viewed as disrespectful comments.
The 29-year-old has since insisted he didn't mean to insult 'scary guy' McGregor and admitted he was shocked by how irate he became about his personal opinion on the 2023 UFC schedule.
Aspinall claims he's done speaking about McGregor, so it seems that beef is over as a new one with Oliveira is just getting going thanks to his unflattering fight prediction.
