Jurgen Klopp has lauded Marcus Rashford for his scintillating form at Manchester United this season.
The Red Devils star has scored an impressive 25 goals so far this across all competitions.
Rashford's first goal in the Premier League this season came against Liverpool when Erik ten Hag's side won 2-1.
The two sides meet again on Sunday afternoon at Anfield, and Liverpool boss Klopp revealed his admiration for the in-form star's efforts.
"It's difficult, I would say pretty much impossible, to be happy about something positive at Manchester United when you are the Liverpool manager," he said on Friday.
"I've been here for seven-and-a-half years, I don't watch them and hope they win or whatever. But I'm really happy for Rashford.
"He had a very difficult last year where he was obviously not performing on the level he's able to perform.
"This will change again but sometimes in life you don't have enough time to change it, but now he's playing incredible. His speed, his technique, the mix up of everything.
"How calm he is now in front of goal, he scores worldies, he scores the simple ones, he's there, he puts his head in, all these kind of things.
"Obviously we played before against world class offensive players and if you try to do that in one one situations then we will always be on the wrong end of it. We have to defend that collectively."
Klopp has also noticed United's change of fortunes this season, with their Carabao Cup win potentially setting them up for a quadruple.
"They won the League Cup final which is a wonderful feeling but you realise you have no time to celebrate, you play a few days later so you have to be ready again. It has nothing to do with us.
"They're doing really well this year and they are where they are. They have turned into a results machine."
A win for Liverpool will further strengthen their case for a top four finish this season, whereas victory for United will see them close the gap on leaders Arsenal.
