Manchester United legend Gary Neville has named David Raya as David de Gea's potential successor at Old Trafford.
The Brentford goalkeeper, whose contract expires at the end of next season, could depart the Bees in the summer given his impressive performances at the club.
However despite his success, he has also faced criticism for past performances but Neville sympathises as he claimed being in goal for Man United is the toughest role of them all.
"I've said it's the single most difficult position in English football, being the United goalkeeper," Neville added. "I genuinely believe that.
"I think Liverpool's no.1 is second. That's not to be disrespectful to all other clubs.
"The United goalkeeper comes under the most scrutiny if they make a mistake than any other position in English football on the pitch.
"It's tough, and I've seen lads in that goal [struggle]. That's the problem they've got, it's whether they can handle that stadium."
