Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora is supposed to be the most ambitious game that Ubisoft has released. While we did not get any new details about the game for a while, we have started to get leaks and rumors about it. The most recent is the pre-order bonus leak which indicates that the game might be up for pre-orders soon. Now new leaks report that Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora could have a season pass, welcome pass, and even currency packs.
You might be wondering why a single-player game would have such things. This is not the first time that Ubisoft has done this. The recent Assassin's Creed games also have microtransactions and premium currency, even though they are single-player titles. ScreenRant covered an article that predicted all the features of the game that could be monetized, and it mentions XP boost as one of them. XP boost allows players to level up faster. This has been an optional purchase in some of the recent Assassin's Creed games, and I personally used it in Assassin's Creed Odyssey.
The leak comes from Twitter user ScriptLeaksR6 who is known for leaking information related to Ubisoft games and was one of the first to share the screenshot of Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora pre-order bonuses. While the addition of a season pass and currency packs is understandable for a Ubisoft game, I am not sure what a welcome pack is. Players who pre-ordered the game or got a deluxe edition might get some additional goodies from the welcome pass, but other than that, it is anyone's guess.
Note that this is a leak and has not been confirmed by Ubisoft. So do take this information with a grain of salt.
Let us know what you think about Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora having a season pass, welcome pass, and currency packs and whether or not you are excited about the game.
