The full-back fell out of favour with Pep Guardiola in recent weeks, and was an unused substitute in their previous three games. Academy star Rico Lewis is now one of Guardiola's first choices in the team, with the 18-year-old impressing for the side. Fernandes and Cancelo are both regulars in the Portugal national team Bayern went on to claim a comfortable win As a result, Cancelo has moved onto pastures new until the end of the season. Whilst City chase Premier League leaders Arsenal, Cancelo joins a Bayern side who sit top of the Bundesliga. He played 71 minutes on his debut for the German giants, who are now through to the quarter-finals of the cup.
