A message from our owner Reza Maulana on World of EuroNASCAR's journey in 2022 and what our readers can look forward to in 2023.
Hello to all of our readers,
2022 has been a very interesting year for World of EuroNASCAR, given the circumstances that we have at the start of the year. As mentioned in my previous statement article, World of EuroNASCAR started the year in a limbo as I hadn't had the time to work on the website again due to an increase in workload for my digital illustration projects that forced me to take a hiatus late in 2021.
Thankfully, the hiatus period did allow me to have enough time to not only ponder on what I can do for World of EuroNASCAR's future, but also to do enough of the changes to ensure that the website is back online again before the start of the 2022 season.
World of EuroNASCAR wouldn't be here without the support from everyone that has visited the website and I'm happy to announce that statistically, 2022 is our most successful year so far! I normally would keep the viewership numbers private, but to honor your support I'd like to mention some of the statistical highlights of the year:
- Viewership wise, the number of total yearly views has risen from 6,444 in 2021 to 12,064 in 2022. It represents an increase of yearly viewership count by 87.21% and it also meant that for the first time, World of EuroNASCAR has reached more than 10,000 total views in a single calendar year.
- A total of 7,240 visitors visited the World of EuroNASCAR website in 2022, an increase from the total count of 4,561 visitors in 2021. It represents an increase of yearly visitor count by 58.74% despite our late start to the year.
- The month of October was World of EuroNASCAR's most successful month in terms of readership as World of EuroNASCAR was visited 2,174 times during the month of the EuroNASCAR Finals. With a total of 4,428 views and a viewership average of 2 article views per visitor - our highest monthly average of article readership per visitor, it also represents the highest views count in a single month for our website.
With the new year comes a new set of goals and for World of EuroNASCAR, the goal is to complete the overhauls that I had set in motion. The complete overhaul of the Drivers page is yet to be completed and I'm also currently working on a plan to overhaul the Records section, something that I hope that I can get it done by the end of the year.
Another goal that I want to achieve this year is to create a greater amount of variety for the content that I created. Article reporting for the latest news and updates is still going to be my primary focus for 2023, but hopefully I can create more Feature articles and try my hands to create video based reports to give you all something new to look forward to.
In the end, I would like to say thank you to everyone that has continued their support during our hiatus and subsequent revival! 2022 has been a tough year for me personally, but I can look forward to 2023 knowing that World of EuroNASCAR has had their strongest year in history and I will keep myself motivated to bring the best EuroNASCAR coverage that I can give.
Thank you and best regards,
Reza Maulana
Owner of World of EuroNASCAR
