Tottenham fans expressed their fury with full-time boos after a 2-0 loss to Aston Villa where they also targeted Daniel Levy and Emerson Royal.
Second-half goals from Emi Buendia and Douglas Luiz meant Spurs started 2023 in the worst possible way with a drab display where Villa managed twice their number of shots.
Spurs had a day from hell
Conte had to deal with full time boos
Boos rained down when referee John Brooks blew the full-time whistle at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, with fans clearly at their limit during a frustrating season.
Antonio Conte's side have been reliant on comebacks as they continue to give up early leads, with Villa being the seventh consecutive league game where they conceded first.
And while it's been a fun watch for the neutrals, the home support may have had enough, and directed their ire at chairman Levy.
'Daniel Levy get out of our club' was sung by sections of the crowd after Tottenham were torn apart by a brilliant move from Luiz and John McGinn to effectively end the game in the 73rd minute.
And to compound the crowd's misery, summer signing Emerson Royal was brought on shortly after, and also received a chorus of boos.
talkSPORT reporter Jake Robson was at the game and said: "That is the full-time whistle blown to boos all around the stadium.
Levy was singled-out
"Brilliant from Aston Villa in what can only be described as a New Year's nightmare in north London for Tottenham, they barely laid a glove on Villa this afternoon."
Spurs' fifth defeat of the league season came after they returned from the World Cup and showed little had changed after a month's break.
Going 2-0 down away to Brentford on Boxing Day, the north London side again had to stage a comeback to take a point, with late heroics quickly growing old for supporters.
