Liverpool conceded first again against Brentford and it is fast becoming a familiar problem for Jurgen Klopp's men.
The Reds found themselves two goals behind at the Gtech Community Stadium on Monday night after an own goal from Ibrahima Konate and a header from Yoane Wissa before half-time.
It was another slow start for Liverpool
It is not the first time Liverpool have given themselves a mountain to climb, conceding the opening goal in 11 of their 25 matches this season.
Much has been made of Tottenham's slow starts, given they conceded the first goal for the seventh Premier League match running during their 2-0 defeat to Aston Villa on Sunday.
But according to ex-Reds midfielder Danny Murphy, his former side have the exact same issue.
"It's definitely been a problem for them," Murphy told talkSPORT when informed of the stats.
Brentford's opening goal came from a corner, but the move which preceded it saw Liverpool carved open in similar style to Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall's opening goal for Leicester at Anfield on Friday.
Murphy added: "Sometimes you can be unlucky conceding a goal. It was an own goal which deflected off his knee.
Liverpool had no answer for Brentford in the first-half
"But there is more concern in how easily they were cut open the minute before the goal with good play in between the lines from Brentford."
Wissa doubled the lead after Brentford had two goals ruled out for offside, with Liverpool lucky to enter the break only two goals down.
The half-time score was even more surprising given the Bees were without talisman Ivan Toney through injury.
Murphy continued: "Liverpool are all over the place, they are all over the place.
Wissa replaced Toney in the starting XI and delivered
"[Kostas] Tsimikas is having a terrible evening, they can't defend crosses…
"Brentford deserve this, they really have. We haven't mentioned Ivan Toney once which is the biggest compliment we can pay them."
