Former Brazil international Juninho has lauded wonderkid Andrey Santos, who is close to joining Chelsea.
Graham Potter's side are set to sign the 18-year-old from Vasco da Gama, beating the likes of Manchester City and Newcastle to his signature.
Juninho used to play for Vasco da Gama and offered his thoughts on Santos
The midfielder is believed to be one of Brazil's most exciting prospects, with one of their former stars having high hopes for his future.
Speaking back in July, ex-international Juninho had nothing but praise for Santos.
"I've never seen a player, at 18, as ready as he is," he said.
"Physically, he's a beast, technically he's on a high level. He's not going to be better than me, he's going to be much better than me."
Santos is the next young signing to be made by Chelsea following the arrival of David Datro Fofana.
The 20-year-old has signed from Norwegian side Molde in a deal worth around £10.6million.
Chelsea's new owners continue to invest in the squad
The Blues are not set to stop their transfer activity there as they pursue a move for Benfica's Enzo Fernandez.
He has emerged as a target for the west London side following his impressive World Cup campaign with Argentina, and they are confident of securing a deal this week.
Fresh faces will be a welcome sight for Potter amid his side's poor run of form as of late.
Chelsea could only take a point from their trip to Nottingham Forest thanks to a 1-1 draw.
They currently sit eighth in the Premier League table and seven points off the top four.
