Norwich are to appoint ex-Huddersfield boss David Wagner as their new manager, talkSPORT understands.
The 51-year-old has agreed a deal to replace Dean Smith, who was sacked following Norwich's poor run of form.

Wagner's move to Carrow Road will see him link up with former Huddersfield Director of Football Stuart Webber.
The pair enjoyed significant success together with the Terriers, taking them into the Premier League.
Since his departure from the Yorkshire club, the German has taken charge of Schalke in his homeland, but was sacked after an 18-game winless run in 2020.
He later moved to Young Boys in Switzerland, but lasted less than one season in Bern, at a time when he was linked with taking the reins at West Brom.
Wagner's appointment is expected in the coming hours, and he could well be in the dugout for his first match in charge when Norwich take on Blackburn in the FA Cup this weekend.
The Canaries are currently 11th in the Championship, 15 points off the automatic promotion places but only three shy of the play-offs.

Jurgen Klopp has previously hailed Wagner when in charge of the Terriers.
Wagner played with Klopp at Mainz, worked under the Liverpool boss at Borussia Dortmund, and was even his best man when the Reds manager got married.
"It's not my job to say how he is exactly, but he's OK," said Klopp after Wagner left Huddersfield.
"What I told him, I can tell you: he should be really proud of what he achieved there. [Huddersfield's success is] one of the most special stories in football in the last three-and-a-half years.
"For me, it probably won't be considered a big success but as a manager you know that it is unbelievable to do what he did this season to keep his squad so confident in a run with bad results, unlucky moments.
"They were always close to drawing and they lost, or close to winning and they drew. That's the story of the season.

"I remember our game when we played there and I felt really bad afterwards, we won without really performing.
"It's part of life and I'm pretty sure in a few years, everyone will think about Huddersfield in that period and be really positive about his name.
"I think Huddersfield thought there is a chance with a change to make something happen.
"Hopefully it will work out, that's what he wants as well of course."
