In 2014, John and Wendy Jerman were interested in the building at 425 Main St. The building had been on the market for a few years and the price suddenly dropped to a price that made it affordable for the condition. Initially, John and Wendy thought they would rehabilitate the building and "flip" it, like homes they had done in the past. The building was unique, and during the demolition period, John and Wendy felt that it would make a great real estate office. Wendy was currently working at Coldwell Banker as a Broker Associate. She was not looking to go out on her own, however, the building had other plans. Wendy always says, "The building found me".
In 2015, the Jerman's daughter, Johnna Harris received her real estate license and became part of Town Square Realty along with Bob McCarty. In 2020, Erin Debus joined in to make Town Square Realty one of the leading real estate offices in Sterling CO.
