Chelsea have by no means limited their intentions to spend in the transfer market, despite a change in ownership,
The Blues bought around £250million worth of new signings in the summer, and could be on course to welcome more new faces in January.

Enzo Fernandez is just the latest name to be linked with a move to Stamford Bridge following his impressive World Cup campaign with Argentina.
The 21-year-old would come in to bolster the midfield, with Atletico Madrid's Joao Felix being a speculated name for the attacking line.
He would follow Christopher Nkunku as a new Chelsea forward, with the Frenchman set to join next summer from RB Leipzig.
New signings in January appear to be much more urgent though, with Graham Potter's side struggling so far this season.
Chelsea currently sit eighth in the Premier League and six points off the top four.
They are through to the Champions League knockout stages, but last season's Carabao Cup finalists saw an early exit this time round.
Fernandez is the latest talent to be linked with Chelsea
Much of the Blues' success in recent seasons has come when N'Golo Kante has been involved in the side.
However, he has been out with a hamstring injury for much of the campaign and a return to action is not thought to be anytime soon.
This, coupled with the potential to see Jorginho leave in the summer, means Fernandez could be a smart addition to the midfield.
Declan Rice has also been linked with the west London outfit, but the Argentine is a more imminent prospect.

Nkunku will join the Blues in the summer
Liverpool and Manchester United are also thought to be interested, but Chelsea are keen to get a deal done now.
Potter opted to play a 4-3-3 in their 2-0 win against Bournemouth and it proved to be a wise decision, especially with Mason Mount's goal from midfield.
Fernandez would likely slot in alongside him, with Mateo Kovacic being the final selection if Jorginho and Kante leave at the end of their contracts in the summer.
Whilst the midfield could be set to be bolstered by fresh, young talent, the conundrum that Potter is likely to face is in the attack.
Once again, goals have been lacking up front for Chelsea, with Kai Havertz and Raheem Sterling struggling to find the target, as well as Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.
Nkunku's arrival could solve that problem though, especially if Felix joined him at Stamford Bridge, even though the latter may only join on loan until the end of this season.
Stamford Bridge could potentially be Felix's next destination
Nkunku has 17 goals and four assists to his name in all competitions this season for Leipzig, therefore establishing himself as a true attacking threat.
Felix's four goals and three assists are indeed less, but his creative spark is something that Chelsea have lacked since Eden Hazard left the club in 2019.
What makes both of them desirable prospects for Potter's side is their versatility across the front line.
Felix is a strong option to play tucked in off the left flank, or through the middle as a second striker, with Nkunku able to cover both positions as well as tucked in from the right
Havertz through the middle with Felix, should he join permanently, to his left and Nkunku on the right could be a potential selection from Potter, with all three being fluid in their movements up top.
Potter's tendency to change personnel in starting line-ups could see this change, although it remains a potential solution to their attacking woes.
Chelsea will be keen to improve in future seasons
This would leave question marks over the involvement of the likes of Christian Pulisic, Hakim Ziyech and Aubameyang.
However, it's clear that more investment is needed in attack, with results so far this season being sub-par.
January will be an interesting month for Chelsea fans, with the club keen to add more talent to their books.
Younger arrivals are signs that they are preparing for the future though, but short-term success is still something that needs to be worked on this season.
