Tyson Fury has set his promoters the task of putting together his most active year in boxing in 2023.
'The Gypsy King' will take on his second opponent of the year on December 3 when he fights Derek Chisora at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in a trilogy bout.
Fury vs Chisora 3 is set for Saturday night, live on talkSPORT
Fury's only other fight this year came as he knocked out Dillian Whyte at Wembley Stadium back in April.
His inactivity has come in part due to the fact that he briefly retired after beating Whyte, but even then, Fury has only been fighting once or twice a year for the last few years.
With that being said, Fury now wants to make a change, as he says that he wants to have 15-20 fights in 2023.
"Back in the day people used to fight 30 times in a year," Fury said. "Today people fight once or twice.
"So here's a challenge to Frank Warren and Bob Arum, how about we do like 15-20 fights next year? F*** it."
This could be more than double the number of fights from Fury's previous most active year when he fought eight times in 2009.
Fury wants to replicate the activity of old school fighters like Mike Tyson who fought 15 times in 1985 and 13 times in 1986
Fury could be taking inspiration from his namesake, Mike Tyson, who fought an incredible 28 times in the first two years of his career, becoming the youngest heavyweight world champion in history along the way.
Hopefully for boxing fans, one of Fury's proposed 15-20 fights in 2023 will be an undisputed clash with Oleksandr Usyk.
With that being said, Fury recently revealed in an interview with IFL TV that the IBF title will not be on the line for him, as he will refuse to pay the sanctioning fees.
This comes after Fury was not happy when he was stripped of his IBF world title shortly after winning it against Wladimir Klitschko back in 2015, as he did not take on his mandatory Vyacheslav Glazkov.
