Tyson Fury and Oleksandr Usyk could still fight but it looks like it will not be for the undisputed heavyweight world titles.
As it stands, Fury currently holds the WBC world title, while Usyk is the unified WBA, WBO and IBF champion, meaning a fight between the two could in theory see the first undisputed heavyweight champion crowned in the four-belt era.

With that being said, the IBF recently threw an obstacle in the way of a potential undisputed clash, as they ordered Usyk to fight his mandatory challenger, Filip Hrgovic.
This would mean he either needs to take the fight and delay a clash with Fury or vacate the belt.
It seems, however, that it will not make a difference anyway if Usyk vacates, as Fury has already stated that the undisputed titles will not be on the line for him, as he will not pay the IBF sanctioning fees.
Fury has a long-standing feud with the IBF dating back to his victory over Wladimir Klitschko back in 2015.
At the time, Fury paid his sanctioning fees and won the title, but he was stripped fewer than two weeks later as he did not want to fight his mandatory challenger, Vyacheslav Glazkov.
As such, Fury believes he should have been reimbursed by the IBF and so when asked whether he was concerned that the title may not be on the line against Usyk, he told IFL TV, "I don't really care.

"Because it's only the s***** IBF title that I wouldn't box for anyway, so the undisputed won't be on the line for me because I won't box for the IBF and that's a fact.
"I wouldn't pay sanctioning fees for the IBF, they're w****** down there, they robbed me.
"Unless they reimburse me from seven years ago, the sanctioning fees I paid them, they'll never ever get to put a red belt on 'The Gypsy King'."
Fury then followed up by sending a message directly to the IBF President, Daryl J Peoples, as he said, "Daryl give me my money back b****.
"Otherwise there will be no undisputed on the line for your s*** belt."
