Conor Gallagher has admitted he 'had a feeling' he would score against Crystal Palace as the midfielder helped down his former club.
The Chelsea youngster spent last season on loan at Selhurst Park and was a major success for the club and a big hit with the fans.

Gallagher was the star of the show for Chelsea

Gallagher found the back of the net with a wonderful long-range effort
Despite wanting to sign him this summer, the 22-year-old opted to stay with the Blues in order to challenge for a place at Stamford Bridge.
While not named in the starting XI by new manager Graham Potter, Gallagher certainly made an impression off the bench by scoring a stunning long-range effort to earn a 2-1 victory for the west London side.
Gallagher spoke after the match and while delighted with his efforts, he also had a special word for the Palace fans.
Speaking to talkSPORT, Gallagher said: "It was a special moment for me to score my first goal for Chelsea.
"It's a boyhood dream of mine and of course it had to come against Palace!
"I've got to be so thankful to the Palace fans first of all for the reception they gave me before the game, and even after I scored.

Gallagher refused to celebrate his winner but Palace will be livid
"I've got to thank them and it was an amazing feeling, but to score my first goal for Chelsea and to get the three points was just amazing and hopefully I can push on now.
"When I was on the bench I was thinking, 'Get me on because I've got a feeling!' And as soon as I got that half a yard I was thinking, 'Just shoot', and as soon as it left my boot I knew it had a chance, so I was buzzing."
Asked about the challenge of breaking into Chelsea's starting XI, Gallagher added: "I just need to keep working hard and impress the manager here.
"There's a lot of top players in this Chelsea squad so it's not going to be easy to get the game time that I want.
"But I'm going to do my best to show that I'm ready and I want to be as effective as I can when given the opportunity."
