Popular Korean webtoon Lookism is getting an animated adaption, showing the tale of a young man living within two bodies and dealing with a superficial society.
"Daniel is an unattractive loner who wakes up in a different body. Now tall, handsome, and cooler than ever in his new form, Daniel aims to achieve everything he couldn't before. How far will he go to keep his body... and his secrets?"

Lookism began in 2014 and has 8.7 billion views globally. Written and illustrated by Taejun Pak. It is the story of a high-schooler able to switch between two bodies: one overweight and considered unattractive and the other fit and seen as handsome. The series has received much praise for its story and themes.
Its animated adaption is by Studio Mir (the folks behind DOTA: Dragon's Blood and The Witcher: Nightmare of the Wolf).
Lookism premieres on Netflix on November 4th, 2022.
