Add to that the arrival of Kalvin Phillips and it makes Pep Guardiola's men the team to beat again this season. The defending champions have the most goal-creating chances per 90 minutes in the league so far (5.33) and have already scored 9 in 3 games. First three Survivor matches:  Round 1: vs Aston Villa Round 2: vs Tottenham Hotspur Round 3: vs Wolves Sterling was an impressive buy for Chelsea Honourable Mention: Chelsea It has been a case of new owners, same Chelsea - they've splashed the cash again, including £60 million on a new left-back! Sterling was a shrewd piece of business and Kalidou Koulibaly will add even more experience in defence - if he can stay on the pitch… The one concern is goals...they've only had the 9th-best xG in the league so far this season, below Fulham, Brighton and Crystal Palace!
