5.05: On Springs 11/8 (NAP)
The Ben Pauling-trained horse comes into this in much finer form than his rivals.
And much more consistent form too, with El Paso Wood and Dindin the David Pipe pair out of the winning enclosure for some time.
The former was second last time out but finished over seven lengths behind and that boosts On Springs chances as the favourite.
The 7-year-old has won his last two and is slowly climbing up the ratings and trip.
Tackles 2m5f for the first time this season in a distance that clearly suits.
5.40: Lady Reset 4/1
Pipe trains this one in what could be a very busy evening for the trainer at Newton Abbot with entries across the card.
Under Tom Scudamore Lady Reset looks a great chance and price in this open and unpredictable five-runner hurdle handicap.
The mare is stepping back in class after a respectable third last time out at Perth and could follow up on her big win at Stratford which saw her beat Ayr Of Elegance by seven lengths.
7.10: Mr Mafia 11/10 (NB)
This veteran is easy to back at this price in a race comprised of just three.
The 13-year-old has won 8 chases in his career and is still showing prominent stamina over 3m, exemplified by a seven length victory at Ludlow in May.
Was upped in class since and has found one or two too strong and now comes up against two others struggling at this distance.
The Martin Keighley-trained horse is the only one to have won over course and distance and under Sean Bowen is the one to beat.
Epsom racing tips
2.50: City Spirit 9/4
This Andrew Balding-trained fill won last time out by two lengths at Windsor and could be finally finding that winning nature.
Previously finished far back in three races but perhaps that win earlier this month has given her that missing something to replicate it.
Got to be respected going back up to Class 5 company having only been raised 4lb and is well-weighted to all her rivals at a decent price.
