As a Soul Hacker 2 player, the first boss you face is R.S, aka Rhyme Soldier. Since this is the first boss, it is easier than some of the bosses you face later in the game. However, this does not mean you can take this boss fight lightly.
R.S. arrives in the arena with Bicorn, so you won't just have to focus on the main boss but his stead. The boss is pretty weak against Ice attacks, and before the first boss fight, you will already have access to these attacks.
It would help if you also considered using Force attacks against Rhyme Soldier. The boss is weak against both Ice and Force elements.
R.S. and Bicorn (Rhyme Soldier) Attacks
R.S. only has a handful of moves that you need to worry about. R.S. uses Beastly Fist, Danger Zone, and Power Charger attacks to take you down.
- Beastly Fist: The boss charges forward with a fist attack on one of your party members.
- Power Charger: R.S. will build up power to perform Danger Zone in the next turn.
- Danger Zone: Entire party faces physical damage.
- Rakukaja (Bicorn): All enemies get increased defense stats.
- Physical Attack (Bicorn): On one of the party members.
How to Beat R.S.
The fight is pretty simple, but if you want to make it even simpler, we suggest doing a dungeon beforehand. Grinding through the dungeon before the boss fight will help you gather much-needed supplies such as help items and more.
Bicorn provides a defense boost to R.S., but the number isn't high enough to become annoying. Focus your Ice and Force elements on Rhyme Soldier. R.S. will quickly drop to 50% H.P. and start using Power Charger to land Danger Zone in the next turn. While he is using Power Charger, use Guard on your party members to protect them from Danger Zone in the next turn.
