Media company NextPlay Technologies Inc. announced that their in-game advertising unit, HotPlay, had entered into a strategic partnership with Triplecom Media's over-the-top entertainment platform, iTAP. The memorandum of understanding outlines how both organizations will be providing certain services and access to platforms to each other, enabling each party to provide more comprehensive solutions to their respective customers and users.
"We believe the proposed partnership positions HotPlay to help strengthen iTAP gaming services, as well as adding its IGA technology into iTAP to offer in-game coupons and rewards, bridging the online-to-offline transactional activities in the rapidly growing Indian market," said Kunal Dasgupta, the Founder of Triplecom Media and iTap. "The synergies and further opportunity for the partnership is exciting."
Representatives from both sides have also discussed the potential of expanding the partnership further to include NFTs, digital fashion, and other virtual artifacts for the metaverse.
